Hello! Welcome to Vanillaholic. My name is Kimber, and I always wanted to make my own vanilla extract. Several years ago, I had some extra cash, and I found some vanilla beans I could afford. I made my first extract and loved it! The next year I made a little bigger batch and gifted some to friends and family. After that people started asking for more and offering to buy it. That started a plan in my mind. With my husband urging me on, in 2023, I began starting a batch of vanilla extract each month. Using beans from various countries, whichever I found cheapest that month, I would slice open the beans, submerge them in alcohol and begin the wait. One year later, my first batch of extract was ready. I offered it for sale and so it began. Deciding on a name for my little business took a bit. Things like Kimber's Kitchen, Extract by Kimber and many others were bandied about, until one day it just clicked. I was obsessed with vanilla. Vanillaholic was born. So far I have learned a lot about vanilla. Please join me as I go along. I will continue to leave these little messages here to tell you some of the things I have learned and about my products. Join me for the journey as I try to build a small business, learn how to network and build business relationships along the way.
